Staffing professionals should check out Bullhorn’s annual Global Recruitment Insights & Data Report. We found a treasure trove of great insights staffing leaders can utilize to understand and benchmark their own business performance. While the report shows how tough 2020 was for recruiters, we were encouraged by the 70% of respondents who believe 2021 will see a strong rebound. Below please find a summary of the report.
What are the top priorities?
Despite Covid, “Candidate Acquisition and Sourcing” continued to be a top priority for staffing firms. This was followed by “Winning New Clients”, “Engaging Candidates”, and “Building an Employment Brand.”
What are the top challenges?
Top challenges are still expected to be “Covid-19 Related Impacts”, followed by “Tight Talent Pools” and “Hiring Freezes’.
What will be the largest consequence from COVID-19 on the way your staffing or recruiting business operates?
The #1 response: “remote recruiting of candidates will be more common”, followed by “we will use less office space” and “remote on-boarding will be more common.”
What are the implications?
The war for talent continues, despite unemployment driven by hard-hit sectors. This continued trend, followed by increased competitiveness for winning new clients and engaging candidates requires staffing firms to continue to navigate the new normal by investing in “all things remote”. From remote technologies, remote communication skills, and remote collaboration; staffing agencies need to continue this shift.
