Meet Ruby Lunar. Our next “Behind the Scout.” This series aims to highlight our dedicated scouts, who offer you valuable support daily.

Question: What originally got you interested in your current field of work?
Answer: ScoutLogic was introduced to me by my husband. I become curious as I was hearing him laughing during their daily meeting. I kept telling him that I would like to experience the same. When he mentioned that they are looking for additional Scouts I didn’t hesitate to apply as I would love to experience the “family-like culture” that they have.

Question: What energizes you about your career in background check screening?
Answer: Talking to people brings joy to me. The current position I have, allows me to talk and learn from people from different walks of life.

Question: What’s the best career advice you’ve ever heard? 
Answer: Go out of your comfort zone and grow. Learn new things, and explore new adventures.

Question: What’s your favorite thing about working at ScoutLogic?
Answer: The way how our administrators/managers treat their employees. I always felt that I am their family member. They always make sure that they are able to support, appreciate, and commend us. They extend their time and effort to ensure that we are safe, happy, and satisfied.

Question: Do you have a professional mentor?
Answer: Yes, I learned a lot from our managers. Cary, who will ensure that all our needs are met. Gena, who willingly assists us. And of course, Karen who answers all types of questions I have. I will be forever grateful to them for all the things I have learned from them.

Question: What was the last TV show you binge-watched?
Answer: I just watch the Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (Korean Drama) on Netflix.

Question: What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
Answer: I am the happiest when I was able to visit my mother on her farm and spend the entire day under our mango trees.

Question: What song always gets you out on the dance floor?
Answer: I am not a fan of dancing but I love the song Sugar by Maroon 5

Question: What’s the phone app you use most?
Answer: I use Facebook a lot, it allows me to get connected to the world.
