The next interview in our background check services case study is with Rebecca Graham, HR Manager, for Novatech. Finding a great background check company plays an essential role in a company’s hiring processes, and Rebecca shares her experiences with ScoutLogic in this short video.

The Managed Office Experts at Novatech empower businesses to increase productivity, lower costs, minimize risks and drive growth through Expert Guidance in consultation, design, implementation and support of cutting-edge business technology. The Novatech portfolio of Managed Office solutions liberates clients to focus on running their business – leaving the tech to an award-winning provider with over 25 years of industry-leading experience.

To deliver on this promise, Novatech needs great talent for all parts of their operations.  Because of its business model, Novatech recruits for a variety of roles. From sales executives to IT help desk associates, the Novatech team is continuously challenged to source a high quality talent.  Given the complexity of the business and  the competition for great talent for these roles, Novatech needed a background screening company that would help their recruiting and onboarding processes.

Before switching to ScoutLogic, Novatech had many challenges with their prior background screening provider.  Unresponsive service and the lack of visibiity into report status was impeding Novatch’s recruiting efforts.  Reports turnaround time was slow and Novatech often felt like they were waiting & waiting for reports to come back.

Since making the change, Novatech is benefiting from improved communicaiton leveraging the ScoutLogic “Scout” model.  This model assigns specific researchers to accounts, enabling much closer and more responsive collaboration between candidates, recruiters, and ScoutLogic .  Novatech’s Scout acts as an extension of their HR team, helping to onboard great talent to help fuel their continued growth.

ScoutLogic is so grateful to Rebecca and Novatech for the great partnership!

ScoutLogic is not a law firm.  You should always check with qualified counsel before you make any changes to your background check program.  If you need a qualified attorney, we would be happy to make a referral for you.
