Question: What energizes you about your career in background check screening?
Answer:  Helping someone get through a hiring process is really fulfilling, especially when you have been on the other side. Moreover, knowing that you are part of a team that helps a company keep a safe working environment is really nice.

Question: What’s the best career advice you’ve ever heard?
Answer: Stop overthinking; just do the best you can on a daily basis, and results will follow.

Question: What initially got you interested in working with ScoutLogic?
Answer: The research aspect of this field is what got me into it. This is the second company I work for within the background check industry, and I find it to be very exciting. Furthermore, the fact that we are able to work remotely makes it more compelling.

Question: What’s your favorite thing about working at ScoutLogic?
Answer: My peers, they have a great personality, and I love their culture. Even though we work remotely, we still have great communication, and I feel like I can rely upon them. Teamwork at Scoutlogic is top-notch.

Question: Describe a day in your life at ScoutLogic.
Answer: I usually start my day with by greeting my peers and checking my calendar invites for meettings. Then I connect with candidates or clients requiring assistance with any International search they have on their background checks. I complete all my pending tasks and work on new ones ensuring quality and compliance. Lastly I review my work and provide assistance if needed on our team.

Question: Do you have a professional mentor?
Answer: All my seniors, managers, trainers, and co-workers have been my mentors here at Scoutlogic; without their guidance, I would not have been able to achieve my goals. Thank you all! I am glad to be part of the team.

Question: What was the last TV show you binge-watched?
Answer: Mr. Robot, if you have not watched it, then just know it’s a must.

Question: What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
Answer: Having quality time with my family, sleep, and exercise.

Question: What song always gets you out on the dance floor?
Answer: Anything from Juan Luis Guerra.

Question: What’s the phone app you use most?
Answer: Instagram, I like to keep up with friends and family.
