Meet Rae Viray. Our next “Behind the Scout.” This series aims to highlight our dedicated scouts, who offer you valuable support daily.

Question: What originally got you interested in your current field of work?
Answer: I like watching crime shows and doing research work. It allows me to study intricate details and look for nuances in between.

Question: What energizes you about your career in background check screening?
Answer: I love the overall positivity and diverse workforce. It brings me joy to see their virtual smiles and help each other out. It is an honor to work alongside this amazing team/family, and together we pursue our mission: To make background checks as quick and painless as possible for our clients.

Question: What’s the best career advice you’ve ever heard? 
Answer: It is the attitude, not the aptitude, that determines the altitude of how you achieve your goal.

Question: What’s your favorite thing about working at ScoutLogic?
Answer: ScoutLogic provides infinite possibilities for potential growth and career advancement. It keeps us motivated to expand our horizons and upskill our skillset. We are all recognized, valued, and commended for our contribution and accomplishment by the ScoutLogic Leadership Team. I’m glad I took a leap of faith. It was all worth it.

Question: Do you have a professional mentor?
Answer: I’m so grateful to Gena and Jodi. They provide constant guidance and encouragement.

Question: What was the last TV show you binge-watched?
Answer: The Amazing Race – I love to explore the world and appreciate the culture.

Question: What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?
Answer: I would say food trip, movie marathon with my family, or sing our hearts out with karaoke songs.

Question: What song always gets you out on the dance floor?
Answer: I’ll start groovin’ with Yeah 3x by Chris Brown and Dance Again by Jennifer Lopez. It’s a tie!

Question: What’s the phone app you use most?
Answer: Music keeps me going so definitely Spotify.
